Can we capitalise and turn the corner

I don't think so myself, you have to be brave and positive to turn the corner and I am afraid IMO Kelly is far too negative and cautious this season he has morphed into Levein. This season is a carbon copy of last season.

Hence why I made the reference to the Tottenham match.

The main dfference between last season and this one, is that everything is happening 6 weeks earlier

Of course they can, the real question is will they
I'm not sure about they OG, they should be able to, but whether they actualyl are capable of it is doubtful, they are lacking bollocks

just got in, what was the match like. I caught Hammonds goal on the radio, seems like we were well on top....... or is my hearing getting bad

We were on the back foot for most of the first 85 minutes with Conrad Logan making 3 or 4 excellent saves to keep us in it, we then struck back with an equaliser in the last 5 minutes and then pushed on looking for the winner. That is how it sounded on the radio anyway.

It sounds like the goal glossed over another typical performance, I'll wait to hear what the people who went have to say though first.

Gibson & Barber reckoned we didn't deserve the point, I see no reason why I shouldn't believe them

is it 1 point gained or 2 points lost?.....

I suspect 1 point gained

I thought you were of the opinion that results are more important than performances?
If that's the case it shouldn't matter whether we deserved it or not, you should be pleased that we got a point away at the team second in the division.
There have been matches when we got less than we deserved, so I'm not going to complain about getting a point when we didn't deserve it.

I agree, however it is the negative tactics and cautious approach that cause me a great deal of concern.

Yep, I can see us losing our next 5 games, Southampton, Leeds, Palace, and Villa can all dick us and QPR are on a roll at the moment. :icon_cry:

Can't beleive I am still this pessimistic after a draw against what is arguably still a premiership team.

100% agree with you A-Z. The W.B.A away game shown that RK mindset is a negative one. If you can't have a go at teams at this level we might as well pack up. Good point today but little else to take from the game.

It is a good result today when all is said and done. But 10 points from 10 games? what a heap.. still waiting for a big shake up here.. new management, new backroom staff, new board - we need it. 'Fresh start' so to speak.

Exactly, who is to say that if we really have a go at these teams then we could actually pick up a few victories. IMO we are paying too much respect to the opposition, there is a fear of what they can do rather than a confidence in what our players can produce.

We got rid of Levein in the hope of replacing him with somebody who had the bravery and courage to play for victories, it appeared last season that Kelly fitted that bill, but as soon as he has been appointed permenently he seems to have disappered back into his shell.
