In your IMO, however on the evidence of his performances for PNE, whilst his scoring record was poor last season, his work rate and general play was pretty good and he is a fair better option as a target man than either MDV or O'Grady.

Each time I saw him play last season he was woeful, his diving to try and win fouls was comical - in fact I seem to remember in one of the play off semi's he went to control the ball and it went straight under his foot.

I wouldn't, as everybody keeps saying MDV ain't a target man, he is shite in the air, so Dichio would provide another option. At the end of the day both Hume and Fryatt are better footballers than MDV and are a lot more mobile and sharp, where as we are lacking a big physical striker to provide a different option and provide some physical presence when we need to adjust our tactics.

I saw this as well...but opened the page. I can't remember exactly what it said, but it wasn't anything to do with signing players! Just old quotes about Twatto and pre-season training.
