Of course Drinky will play. Everything else is raving lunacy.
Whilst agreeing with you reference drinky slowing things down, are you suggesting drinky with one of king, amarty or mendy is a worse combo then king and amarty? If he does return to the team tonight, I only ask you to watch his performance closely. On Saturday, we didn't piss about in midfield at all. They chased, they tackled, they covered space. When they got the ball, they got rid of it sensibly straightaway.
Insert Drinkwater (circa 2016/17) and he'll be demanding the ball all the time, passing backwards, sideways and generally slowing us down. Occasionally, to really show everyone how great he is, he'll ping a 60 yard ball well ahead of the forwards that will go through to their keeper or out of play. And with all this, the team will lose all its impetus, its shape and its threat.
If we see the Drinkwater from last season, he's one of the first names on the team sheet. But this season, he makes us play worse.
Hugh who?Based on the last pre-match thread:
We should sell Mahrez and Vardy, drop Fuchs, give Hugh his pension and if King is anywhere near the squad I will quit watching football forever.
don't forget drop Zieler and play the kid from the U12s team insteadBased on the last pre-match thread:

well maybe if Drinkwater wasn't deeper that Huth and Morgan he would find some passing options he could use, seriously the stuff people overlook because its Drinkwater gets other players dogs abuseIts called trying to keep possession when none of your colleagues can be arsed to make any movement.
I suggest you look at those games closely and look how static we were all over the pitch, a shit scared Amartey not wanting the ball and a triple marked Mahrez offering no outlet.
But blame our most dynamic and smart midfielder by all means
Hugh who?
