Spot on, in terms of Rodgers seemingly handing JV the right way so far.

Apart from “Leicester's fans still cling, somewhat unrealistically, to images of Vardy's searing pace taking them to the Premier League title in 2015-16.”. No, we don’t.

I cling to images of his searing pace ripping Fulham apart this afternoon

What a bell-end

I've been critical of the last few City managers for not doing this sort of thing. I consider it to be a key part of the role to engage with supporters. Thankfully, Rodgers appears to feel the same way. Another plus point for him in my book:

I did a car-shuffle (technical boaty term for dumping one's car where it will next be needed) today. Left it at a friend's house in Formby - we are on our way to Liverpool. He pointed out to me the house, once owned by Steven Gerrard, now the property of Brendan Rodgers (with a 'd') and rented out to one Jürgen Norbert Klopp. As an Everton fan, my friend particularly wanted me to know that Norbert is his middle name.

Nice area.

Is your friend a scouser? as it sounds like someone has been "casing" the place.

Brendan has been alright so far. I wonder if any of the Puel in brigade have finally admitted that he was wank.
