He's been at the club since January 2016 and has evolved very well as a keeper.
He's no kid. He's 25 and has over 150 senior appearances. I think he's excellent at what matters - his two main attributes are his saves and his physical presence. He isn't great with his feet so overplaying will expose him.
His ceiling as a keeper is much higher than with Ward. I truly hope he does well today and settles that position for the rest of the season. If he can provide some belief back there, it may lead to some confidence growth in those in front of him.
It's a lot to ask of the lad, but we really need him to step up.
