He'll probably be a pedant and tell you technically he hasn't left yet
He only started five league games FFS, that's less than a fifth of our games.
Why are people talking about him as though he's played a major part in our success? :icon_conf
Davies didn't play on Saturday and we put 4 goals past a team who i think are strong and will be up there at the end of the season. Lets stay calm, we are ahead of schedule and the transfer window is still open.

What is it with Max Gradel playing on the left wing? Surely Dyer, Berner and/or Mattock (in no particular order) would be much better options. I really don't think Gradel is ever going to be a first-choice player for us.
As for dropping Berner, I really can't agree. It would seem that him moving in to midfield yesterday really helped our improvement in the second half and let's not forget that he scored one and had one assist yesterday.

Spot on ,we have his replacement,let him get settled in a bit more,i rember right davies had a rocky start with us ,where he was poor one half and better the next.The more time he spent with us he just got better and better ,lets hope the new lad can do the same thing .

apparently Gradels preferred position is left wing (well according to stringer anyway)
But do we need a replacement for Davies when we've done so well without him?
We may need a midfielder to come in when needed, rather than one to start every game.

Davies has been part of the team that has helped to take us nine points clear. We weren't 9 points clear before he came. I never said anything about him being a major part of our success.
Just trying to give you a dose of you're own pedantic medicine. :icon_wink
We're nine points clear because of ALL the matches we've got points from this season, not just the few Davies has played.
We can't play all the players who have taken part this season, we're only allowed eleven, and Davies has contributed less than at least eleven other players.

True,its just we looked a lot stronger and move the ball around better when Davies was in the team,its unfair to judge Cleverley/the team after one match which we did win.
Like you say we got here without him(Davies) in the first place.
