BR thinks that Ward is a better keeper. He wanted to sell Iversen this summer because he doesn't rate him with his feet.

Having watched Iversen about ten times, I can tell you that he is miles better than Ward by any measure. Iversen has a mistake in him but he's just a superior keeper in every possible way.

I completely agree. Ward deserved first bite at it, but he should not be viewed as entrenched and he’s made enough mistakes already to be replaced.

So, if Soumare starts to play well, and Daka can continue playing this way, does that mean all the vitriol aimed at Congerton was wrong? He would have brought in those two, Justin and Fofana.

Just theoretical at the moment of course. Jury is still out on Soumare and Daka.

It is not the signings it is how the manager plays them imo, I can honestly say I have backed them they are no where established yet and it may take another season for them to adjust.

We don’t have a clue how to clear the ball from set pieces.
I remember the beauty of 2015/16 when it would get nodded down to Kante who’d dink it to Drinkwater and set up an attack. Now they are jumping around and just swiping at the ball

I'm always amazed how many of our fans can't see what Nacho brings to the team.

He may not be graceful, but our attack is better with him on the pitch.

That's my point. The signings made have been one of the major criticisms for many, me included, but if they begin to fire, will that have actually been a success under Congerton despite common belief?

Perhaps part of the reason we looks so frightened and fragile when defending is that no one has any confidence in Ward. He has been truly awful today

Technically he is not good invariably he is yards off the pace and lacks vision imo. For me he gets in the way more than he adds to our play.
