It must be a happy Leicester dressing room, long may it continue.

Good to see Leeds slip up. I think they are a play-off threat. Though we might need the play-offs.... :0

Kernocky got a kernock in training and it got a second kernock in the game. Wasn't very well this morning as well.

Pearson's comments:

Scrappy game at times but did well. Chris Wood shows what we've been missing (think that's what he said, mumbled)
Coped well with Knocky going off early, knew the wide areas were important.
Could have passed the ball better, but can't complain winning 4-0.
NP says we're creating a lot of chances and now putting them away too.
Gave them too much of the ball second half, but very heavy pitch will leave the players tired.

Wood's doing what we hoped he would too. Important to win as a team and he's playing his part.
Is he the final piece? Don't know, stop trying to get hints on transfers you **** (paraphrasing).
Needed something different up top, Wood gives us that.
He's well grounded so won't let his form go to his head.

Knocky took a knock in training and then in the same place today. Touch and go whether he'd play, but should be okay.
By that point, it was an easy decision to make the change.

Possibly best crop of players he's had. Certainly better than the team we had here last season with so-called bigger names.
They work hard and are honest. Don't expect them all to be best mates but they work well together and focused on success.

Brilliant fans.

I would hope Kernocky will be fit for Middlesbrough. If we can win that one it will be looking tremendous.

I think the signing of Chris Wood also pays testament to our transfer policy under Pearson. He will likely have had other suitors. But we made our interest known quickly and secretly and paid a fair price upfront without trying to rip West Brom off and risk getting into a bidding war.

Chris Wood on the radio. Like him already!

He said thanks to all the players doing the hard work, he was just there to pokke them in.

Did he say anything about working on his touch?

I wonder who dislikes who.

Still think 8m for Maynard would have been a better deal.

Cardiff take a point against lowly Ipswich. Palace and Boro both lose :038:Up to 3rd level on points with Palace and Boro however we have a mammoth 10 & 16 goal difference lead respectively over these teams.Come on Sheff Wed, make it a great day!!
Which from our point of view, means we've gained a point on the playoff places today despite only drawing. Sweet.

Settling for a play off place, and more disappointment already? :icon_wink
