We desperately need both Vardy and Ricardo to play in as many of these 11 (or possibly 14) games as possible. Their potential replacements are shite

Crazy that we are so reliant on these two, but here we are

I think it's perfectly logical to be reliant on Ricardo - he's an excellent player and were it not for his injuries, I suspect he would have already moved to a top six club.

Being reliant on an ancient Jamie Vardy when we have spent the thick end of £100m on other strikers since 2016 is....

...inevitable if he's the only one scoring? What we've spent on other players is irrelevant, just because Iheanacho and Daka were 25m each doesn't automatically make them good players does it?

Well, it certainly won't be 14.

Hopefully, it will only be 9. Worst case scenario is 11. Could be 12.

Maths was never my strongest point - mainly because my maths teacher was a complete ****

Well, we [and all clubs] should only be spending £25m on players that are proven to be good really.

Of course we have to play Vardy now, my post was a comment on how bad our recruitment has been since 2016.

Another away day that I remember much better than anything I've seen over the last year.

Fabulous scenes when Flossy scored the equaliser. This was the day I learned to hate Andy Cole. I was stood right behind the goal when he got that winner. Gutting.

What a great season that was albeit heartbreaking in the end. Endearing memory for me was watching Rooster walking the ball into the net at Ewood and us all going berserk behind the goal before it had even hit the back of the net.

I can’t make sense of this. On one hand you think it’s logical to be reliant on Ricardo, and then you mention his injury record.

It’s stupidity of the highest order to be reliant on (and base a system around) Ricardo, let’s be honest.

It's not rocket science. He's a great player that's suffered with injuries in the past. He has no competition for his place in our squad at all.

Vardy is a great player with an unbelievable goal scoring record that by all rights, should be a bit part player at this age, especially when we have at least £50-£60m of competition for him, currently at the club.

The point I'm making and you're willfully missing is that it's perfectly logical to be relying on a player that is too good for the championship (AND were it not for injuries, probably much of the premier league). This is recruitment done right.

Whereas it's crazy we're still relying on Vardy, who is still performing long past expectations (Puel thought Demari Gray was a better option up front), despite having spent nearly £100m on replacements over the last 8 years.

Nope. Makes no sense.

Relying on a guy made out of tracing paper is beyond stupid.
