I went to Cardiff Millieneum Stadium. Top atmosphere nearly beats Footie on the old sound. Shame about the Brits but some great racing, and Tony Rickardsson is about to become six times world champion.

Speedway is one of those sports that I don't follow, but if there is racing on the telly I will watch it. ;-) :mrgreen:

3rd biggest Ratings puller on Sky! The probelm is that Speedway isnt consisent enough. You often have one superb World Championship meeting on the Saturday and on the Monday Skys League Match is piss poor. However it still a highly enjoyable sport espically when you consider Skys roving reporter Sophie Blake is facking top notch.

It was a great meeting Hazzman - I saw it on Sky, couldn't make it down from Aberdeen this year, but will try next.

I always remember the atmosphere at Wembley for the old finals - it was great, but the racing was normally poor (only one line round Wembley). This all changed for the 1981 final in front of 70,000 fans - brilliant racing.

I used to be a regular at Blackbird Road and the atmosphere for close matches between the Lions and Covscum or Cradley was electric (around 10,000 fans used to turn up for these matches in the early '80's). It was always a great race track with loads of passing.

Can't remember the lat time I went to a meeting, but it has been a few years now.
