Just to clarify, this is only a preliminary squad. It will be cut from 30 to 15 in a few weeks time.

Nixon has a fair chance of being in the final 15, it depends what he does in this current tournament.

Broad is unlikely to get in the squad as the selectors seem to have an odd fascination with the likes of Mahmood and Plunkett

I can't understand why they didn't bring Broad into the team for the Twenty20 match, he was the most economical bowler in England at Twenty20 last year and it was an ideal chance to see if he could do it at a higher level.
