Chris Powell gets unfair criticism IMO. He was great at Fulham and fine when he came on against Cheltenham.... You leave my Powell alone. Bully.
 
How can they say "subject to Football League approval" and then go on to say he will be available for selection tommorrow, surely there's not long left to get the approval for tomorrows earlier kick off?
 
Does this mean others don't fancy the LB role and/or Mattock will be out for longer than thought? I'm not against signing a LB but this bloke hasn't played much in recent times. I just hope he's ok as he's got a 3 year contract.

We need a Left Back and he's a Left Back so thats one good thing.Whether he's any good remains to be seen,who knows ?
 
I'm assuming Mattock must be off in January... or Pearson has decided he doesn't like Chris Powell (which would seem weird, he was good at Fulham).

Either way, still not sure we need it though with Kisnorbo coming back now anyway... more than fills the job at LB I think.

Bit of a weird one, but hopefully good, and still keep Mattock

Left back was by far the most needed signing, well done NP.
