I imagine the cost even at the reduced prices will put off most Junior Football clubs particularly at a minimum of 100 tickets, unless they have quite a few teams and do it as a Lottery that the winners actually walk on the pitch with the players whereas the other lads (or girls) + family friends etc sit in the stand.

They could always order a fair few under 8 tickets (which are free) and they when they don't turn up say that they had an under 8 cup match that Saturday so couldn't come. Depends what %age of the 100 you can have free.

Surely the point of being an escort to football players is that they pay you and then you sell your story to the NOTW?

i rememeber being a mascot think it was Nov 1993 Norwich away. We lost 2-1. Fantastic day out.

How could you say that witnessing your team lose could be enjoyable...oh wait a minute...

That was November 1994 in the Premier League.

I was mascot a year earlier in November 1993 at home to Southend, a 3-0 win with goals from Joachim,Thompson & Oldfield.

Under 8's aren't allowed to play competitive matches so they can't have a cup match as it's friendlies all round I'm afraid.

(Sorry to scupper your master plan :))

Foiled again :icon_redf
When my lad first started playing Junior football he joined an under 8 League Team here in Sheffield and there was a Cup Competition as well I think, but they have probably changed the rules since then about Junior matches.

I wonder whether Richard Smith played in that game...:icon_lol:

He played in neither of the two games under discussion.
