Leicester City forward Danny Cadamarteri is currently in talks with Doncaster Rovers with a view to joining the club for a one-month loan period.

Cadamarteri joined the Foxes as a free agent last December, and has to date made seven appearances off the bench for Rob Kelly's side.

But the 27-year-old former Everton and Bradford player could now join Rovers after failing to make the 16 for City's last two fixtures.

If the deal is completed, Cadamarteri could go straight into the Doncaster squad for their League One clash against Cheltenham this weekend.

Rovers currently sit just two points outside the play-off places in their division.

What was the fecking point in signing him??? Clueless Management, totally clueless:icon_roll

Clueless, absolutely clueless.

As Duzza said, he hasn't been given a fair crack, and when he has came on he's looked better than the current tripe on display.

I wonder what Mark Bright would make of it all, is there any footballing reason why Stephen Hughes gets picked over Danny Cadamarteri

Rob Kelly is a clueless ****

Should have been given a couple of full games to see what he can do - especially given the level of incompetence displayed by everyone else in the squad

Ridiculous in the extreme

A fall out is the only thing I can think. He comes off the bench, scores and then disappears in to oblivion.

Along with Mark De Vries, Momo Sylla and Chris O'Grady.

Any connection between these 4 players :102:

Every game, Cadamartari is the first one after the game has finished, to go running round the pitch, keeping his fitness levels up because he hasn't played. That to me clearly shows he wants to make a go of things here, and his willing to put extra in to get a chance. Our loss !!

Good Luck Danny !!

From what I've seen of him Cadamarteri is a better player than half the twats wearing the shirt week in week out. Kelly, leave now please, you are a joke.

Not convinced about that, yet - but the fact is he hasn't been given the chance to prove it

What a clueless git he is

I bet Mike Newell would have played him.........

The bloke hasn't been allowed to get match fit because he hasn't played any competive matches. He's been good coming on for the last 20min but it dosen't get you match sharp. This the folly of not having a competitive reserve team, something we have missed all season when we have had injured players. This loan might sharpen him and be a benefit to us in the long run or show that he is not what we need for next seasons push.

I think weve moved him on so we can get Joey in....

But playing for feckin Doncaster isn't going to show whether he can hack it in this league, is it ?

Our season is as good as dead - so we might as well play him in the first team. If he's shit then fair enough

Same principle applies to Yeates - it's feckin ridiculous how he is being treated

Exactly right, nows the time to be playing these players to decide wether we want them long term or not.
