No-one will even know I've died. The world will just think I've been banned.

Michael Oliver could have left his cards at home yesterday. Perhaps he did!

Michael Oliver could have left his cards at home today.

I've just checked his season record - the game was the first in which he has kept his cards in his pocket. He's managed to book at least two in every other game and has two six yellow hauls to his credit and another where he dished out a magnificent 7 yellow cards. Thirty-nine cards in his previous ten games; we clearly missed out big time!

What are the chances that Simpson and Huth both get a 1 game suspension for the same match?

A couple of bookings for Baggies but it seems that our lot didn't want to get too involved and cause the ref any upset.

With the disappointing results this season and the increasing numbers of frustrating bookings, it's easy to believe that our disciplinary record is worse than it was last time around. Not so though; it's actually better than last year's at this stage.

By coincidence our twelfth league game last season was also against Watford, although we had played an extra couple of league cup games by then. Only the Watford keeper was shown a card in that game but even before it we had already amassed a total of 28 yellow cards with Jeff Schlupp had served a ban for collecting five of them.

Mahrez apparently got booked in the 57th minute. I missed it. Both BBC and Sky have it on their match line-uos but no mention in either of the live commentaries. Anybody know what it was for?

Needless tackle on Kolorov

I'll take your word for it. Very odd that neither I nor BBC nor Sky actually saw it and it was only recorded in the stats. All of us obviously too busy watching Gundogan dragging his chance wide.

Thanks

Booted the ball away needlessly. It was our goal kick.

It was definitely for delaying the game. As Zieler came to collect the ball to take a restart, he kicked the ball further away from him.
