Superb away performance - an absolute walk in the park (literally at times). This team is exceptional.

Fatawu was simply brilliant - every single thing he did oozed class. Mavididi and KDH totally dominant. The second half versions of Winks, Justin and Hamza were superb.

Daka and Ndidi were pretty ****ing awful, though - and considering Nacho and Daka will be off soon I’m very surprised he’s not giving Cannon more game time to get himself going - so far he’s looked way off it, and it’s hardly surprising when he’s getting ten minutes at a time.

8 points clear of second, 11 points clear of third

What a ****ing season this is

Ipswich 0 QPR 0.

WBA 1 Leeds 0.

Be a matter of time before Southampton overtake Ipswich now IMO. I fancy it to us and them to get top 2.

That seems like a very tenuous way of mentioning your trip to some fancy mountains :icon lol:
I accept that critique. My only defence is the face in the dogs when they realised that they were spending New Year in the kennels. When they get back home, they will spend two days with their backs to us because they are so pissed off.

Great win tonight especially with the other results going our way. Ipswich look like they have run their race. It is looking like us and Southampton for the automatic places.

I am sorry you had a bad day. My dogs also had a bad day. We took them to the kennels because we are spending New Year in the Pyrenees and they refused to get out if the car.
Whereabouts are you going in the Pyrenees?

Pretty much the perfect away performance. A walk in the park made to look even easier.

KDH, Mavididi and Fatawu were fantastic. Choudhury and Winks were also excellent in that second half.

The table is looking good.

Piss the league.

Why isn't he using the squad? Surely going to back fire at some point
Because quite rightly he wants points in the bag. No game is worth more than any other so just get the points in and like you say we’ll piss the league. I really can’t understand how people are moaning about the squad not being rotated when we are winning games. I do get though that we need something to moan about so if this is it then fair play!

Only saw the first hour or so before my phone died. Was a very easy game for us. Seemed like Cardiff had accepted their fate early on. Reckon we could go up this season tbh.

We're going to have to rotate some soon with the afcon. As long as we're not running anyone into the ground then it's all good. Not sure which of our players would have felt tired after yesterday's game too.

We are going south of Pau, about 20 minutes from the Spanish border. No skiing, tried it once and made a complete tit of myself.
Sounds good. I’ve spent quite a lot of time on the Eastern side of the Pyrenees, south of Perpignan. I’d have loved to live in France, but still manage to go there a few times a year, so a decent consolation.

The great thing with our style of play is that we can win a game like last night and not really over exert ourselves. We are efficient and do not get drawn into high intensity end to end football.

I wouldn't make many changes for Monday either, play the strongest available team, kill the game off with 2-3 goals and then rest some players.

Then we can make a full rotation for the FA Cup game and the key players can have a good rest then.

100% agreement from me.

Yes I think the FA Cup game will be seen as a week off for a few players.
