We've decided (BG and I) that the Shakespeare in Braunstone is a cracking place for a pre match pint.

btw why is it that the match thread is closed straight after a match, but the pre match thread stays open??
 
Haven't been on here for a few days but may as well comment in here and say we were dominant and the game was never in doubt after Waghorn scored.

The match thread is (or should be!) different to others because it contains mainly posts that are irrelevant by the end of the match, but it can get pretty big, with lots of duplicated posts and very little that is worth replying to after the match.
So if post-match stuff is posted there (which happens if the thread isn't closed), people have to go through loads of irrelevant stuff to get to something worth reading. So it gets closed to stop this from happening.

The pre-match thread shouldn't have the same problem, as long as people can tell the difference between "pre" and "post".
