Foxes fixture switched

Leicester have switched the date of their Championship home clash with Cardiff City following advice from the police.

The clash was originally due to be played on Saturday 19 February but has now been brought forward by 24 hours.

The game will now take place on Friday 18 February, kick-off 7.45pm, although it could be moved again should Leicester or the Bluebirds reach the fifth round of the FA Cup.

why would the police advise this, surely it's asking for more trouble, surely it just gives people more drinking time. The cardiff fans will take the day off and drink all day and cause more trouble than if it were on the saturday??

i quite agree if they are concerned about trouble then why not a 11:00am ko ?

sorry didn't see it.

you have more chance of trouble when everyone has a few drinks, (like a typical friday/saturday/any night in tamworth) if it's 11:00 am then there's less time for people to get drunk.

maybe or maybe not but i dont think we should slag him off till theres something to really have a go about - he came in with the club in an awful financial state and is simply doing things to try and make is financially stronger - unforturnately i think hes just bein pragmatic and realistic
