Point one we have been "misinformed" yet again. :icon_roll After all we wouldn't take someone on trial unless we were thinking of taking them on a contract some sort, or would we? :102: Ergo there is more money. :icon_roll

Didn't Nicky Summerbee and Billy McKinlay initially play for free - for no greater reaon than that it got them back into football and put them in the shop window. Perhaps City and Asaba have a similar thing in mind.

I think which makes me think Asaba could be a City player within 3 weeks is the fact its 'in' season meaning that if City thought he was worth a pop then we would have had him on in the summer, we need a striker badly and Kelly with a lack of experience could fall for the bait.

Its quite possible Asaba's agent circulated a press releases telling clubs in the Championship and League 1 of his availablity and RK thought 'we'll give it a go'.

I am sure Asaba if to join would put some effort it in, he's a hard-working pro but will he good enough? I doubt it.

He scored 4 goals in 24 appearances for Millwall last season.

If he was a replacement to Hume, what a backwards step. You take a lad with talent not fully fulfilled at the minute and currently in bad form and replace him with an old boy who couldnt get a place for Millwall this season and is 33 years of age.

It's okay to get an older players, if they are willing to work and can still do the magic at this level. Take Shipperley for example, still scored goals last season for Sheff Utd frequently and still has an appetite to play. Werent we linked with him at some point last season?

Ah well, at least it gives you lot something to moan about this morning as its difficult to moan about our weekend performance.

Maybe the club are doing it just to keep our faithful supporters moaning and therefore happy.

you in a shit stirring mood today dunc :icon_bigg

you tease :icon_lol:

Its probably more annoying than teasing, but they deserve it :icon_bigg.

It would be quite funny though if after every game we win/draw the club release a news item just to appease the people that love to moan.

Maybe next week it will be a the price of pies goes up 20p or something or Filbert the Fox will convert to islam to appeal to our diverse community and attract new supporters.
