Can someone please explain to me how that draw worked. I flicked on halfway through the draw and it just seemed that Trevor Francis and Lawrie Sanchez were just picking out 1 ball and thee other team materialised out of nowhere?

The unseeded teams were pre drawn. Some home, some away. The seeded teams basically filled the gaps.

I think seedings in this competition are a good idea, it means the smaller clubs have got a better chance of getting a big game.
