Casadei's loan ended

Leicester City Football Club can confirm that Cesare Casadei has been recalled by parent club Chelsea.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Foxes on loan in August 2023, featured on 25 occasions in all competitions.

He netted on his debut at home to Cardiff City before going on to score a further two goals in games against Rotherham United and Millwall.

He leaves Leicester City with the best wishes of everyone at the Football Club.

Probably a blessing in disguise provided we can get a replacement in. Didn't rate him at all, popped up with a few goals thanks to the fact that Enzo likes his midfielders to 'arrive in the box' but apart from that I'd describe his output as less than mediocre. If he's barely good enough in the Championship then Chelsea gotta be very fkin desperate. Who knows, maybe he'll do a Harry Kane and go on to become a top player in his position.......
