Academy Roast Robins

Leicester City's under 18 side maintained their top of the table spot following a thumping 4-0 victory at Bristol City on Saturday afternoon.

The young Foxes went into the game on the back of a run which had seen them collect 18 points from their last seven fixtures.

And that impressive sequence was further extended against the Robins - with Max Gradel, Scott Garner, Ryan Beswick and Eric Odhiambo getting the goals on the day.

Walkers Youth Academy manager Jon Rudkin said: "The high winds and poor surface made the conditions difficult, but the lads stuck to the task and did everything that was asked of them."

The match also saw the return of Ashley Chambers and Alieu Jailow, with both players having missed the majority of the campaign through injury.

Rudkin added: "It was very pleasing to see both Ashley and Alieu back out on the pitch. It's been a very frustrating period for them.

"Ashley played the final half an hour of the game, while Alieu came on just after him. They are certainly moving in the right direction, which is great news for us."

City: Pentney, Magunda, Lycett, Garner, Mattock, Gradel (Chambers), King, Tejan-Sie (Cox), Beswick, McKay (Jailow), Odhiambo.

means feck all. were going down and they will all **** off to decent clubs.

We might aswell stick them out against Derby. 11 of them. We are going to lose anyway, so it will provide some valuable experience, and you never know.. they might spring a surprise result :102:
