Fawaz has released a statement, which basically says they need to balance the books, it will help towards FFP etc. It goes on to say that SP knew about the deal and that he's not done anything behind his back.

The fans are desperate to keep Lansbury, and he's pretty much said he will be sold if the money is right.

This is only going to end one way.
