If McClaren were sacked by florist do you think Martin O'Neill would be interested in that job? I read on the BBC website that Stan Colleymore thinks he (O'Neill) would be willing to "help".
How do you think people would feel if he were to become Forest manager given his very successful past here?
It wouldn't bother me in the slightest, but we know he won't go.
He's been petulant at every club he's managed due to his perceived level of financial support from chairmen. What is very obvious from Forest is that their current method of player acquisition does not meet the promises to or expectations of their managers.
Billy Davies is a cracking manager at this level and he ended up voicing his concern like a stuck record.
Brollyboy was promised funds and yet Forest failed to land any of his main or secondary targets. He's simply waiting to be paid up his contract now, and I don't blame him.
He's not the terrible manager some paint him out to be, he's a victim of circumstance. MON is astute enough to know this and not be conned by the Championship's most mendacious board.
Honestly, I feel sorry for the fans but then I don't harbour a burning hatred for them like many.
