The tower of our 800 year old village church is crumbling. We have formed a 'Friends' charity group in my village of mostly non-churchgoers to raise money to help preserve it as a cherished historic building in our small village.
One of our fund-raising events in the village on Nov 1 is a Christmas Craft Fair - all welcome!
A friend of mine who deals in memorabilia has donated a complete set of 40 of the LCFC Mercury cards of Players and Managers issued about 6 years ago in two beautiful frames. The cards are in 'mint' condition, never been traded! They are triple mounted in wood and glass frames each approx 60cm X 40cm, and would make a fabulous gift for any City Fan.
They will be auctioned by my friend at the Craft Fair at 3pm on Nov 1. He only has a few of these and the last time he sold a pair they went for well over £100!
If you wish to bid for these framed cards but cannot attend the Craft Fair - I will also be at the Bristol Rovers match - you can PM a bid to me. If no-one at the Craft Fair outbids you the frames are yours!
I will post the highest bid received so you can increase your bid if a fellow TB'er has outbid you. I will not post your name unless you ask me too. October 31 is the last day I will accept any bids and the highest will lodged with the auctioneer.
Apologies for the quality of the photos - I am not 'Ebay' trained!
MODS - I would if grateful if this could be sticky for a few days in this main forum so most members will get a chance to see it.
