we are carrying passengers in this squad it needs major surgery in the pre season. BR needs a bollocking from the chairman imo

Painful viewing but job done.

Unless Wolves win at Liverpool, which you'd have to say is exceptionally unlikely, a win against Southampton and we finish 8th.

Given the utter misery of the season we've had, that's pretty remarkable.

Funny how we showed more fight / desire in this than in Rome.

Shit league

Expected to lose, so whatever the performance, that's not a bad result.

Should be enough to secure a top half finish too, which is nothing to sniff at

Apparently we roll over when we play the top four sides (although we actually have more points against them in recent seasons than most teams).

But even when we get a solid away point ar Stamford Bridge we’re still not happy?
I am. We defended really well for the most part.

You know this place; most of the miserable ****ers aren't happy without something to piss and moan about.

BR needs to be nowhere near the rebuild. Even if we overlook that he couldn't give a **** about defending he's probably got a lovely list of absolute shite to buy in the summer. Those above him really need to make sure it doesn't happen.

Would take us losing, Brentford winning and a six-goal swing for us to finish lower than 10th, I think.

Didn't watch it. Looks like a good result.

Some posters need to take a look at what they posted in the pre match, and also the match thread, once the team had been announced.

you know nuffink!

We have collected 8 points out of 36 against the 'big six' sides this season. Half of those were against Man Utd. We've been awful against them all on the whole.

We got 19 out of 36 last season.

BN we blew the chance to finish in the top 6 or 7 this season that was down to BR. we were shocking against Everton home and away and we capitulated against Spurs and Newcastle.
