Sounds like we've injured Maddison now and he'll be out against Chelsea

I can't imagine how utterly pathetic we'll be in an attacking sense with him out.

He’ll use it as an excuse, even though he ****ed up our medical department.

Kante out for four weeks.

Hope the Fofana transfer and way it's happened inspires us to go get a smash and grab win here.

In reality they've probably taken one of our best players and will now beat us 4-0 or more, with Amartey having a shit show and Evans getting injured.

This is a wonderful day to play Chelsea.

Their manager is banned, their main central defender is banned, their new one not yet available, no striker worth the name, and so on. They're really vulnerable.

If we were our normal selves, this would be an exciting prospect. However, I fully expect us to surrender again.

We have a mardy manager, disjointed tactics and a team lacking heart and guts.

Contrast that with a game we played 25 years ago today. City 3 Arsenal 3. That Bergkamp performance.

Back then we had a manager that rose taller in adversity and a squad that had some quality but was littered with players desperately trying to be more than their talent allowed.

If only I could take their hearts and minds and implant them into our current squad, we'd be flying.

T’was an incredible match, Bergkamp was immense and Walsh had the heart of a lion and never knew when he was beaten.

A truly awesome game.

Walshy was brilliant, wasn’t he?
An awesome player.

Makes some of the lightweights we have now look like right wimps.

He’s here, he’s there, he’s everyfuckingwhere, Steve Walsh. I can still recall the game where during the warm up he was playing as a defender and then as soon as the whistle blew he ran up to play centre forward.

Head-to-head

  • Leicester have won just one of their last 10 Premier League away games against Chelsea (D4, L5).
  • However, the Blues have dropped points in five of their last seven home league fixtures against the Foxes.

Chelsea

  • Chelsea could lose back-to-back Premier League matches for the first time under Thomas Tuchel.
  • In Tuchel's first 30 league games in charge of Chelsea they scored 52 goals and conceded 17 - in their subsequent 30 they have scored the same amount but conceded 34.
  • The Londoners have won only five of their last 15 home games in the league (D8, L2).
  • Their last nine league goals have been scored by nine different players.

Leicester City

  • Leicester have two wins from their last 15 games away from home in the Premier League (D5, L8).
  • The Foxes have kept a clean sheet in just one of their last 27 away league games.
  • Rodgers is in danger of losing three consecutive league games for the first time since November 2014.
  • James Maddison could become the first English midfielder since David Beckham in 2000 to score or assist in eight consecutive games in the Premier League.
  • Jamie Vardy's next goal will be his 100th in the Premier League after turning 30.

Bloody hell. That’s hard reading.
