Yeah but duzza, isn't it also true that with standard betting you get your stake back when you win? This game doesn't follow standard betting, otherwise Yorkshire Vixen (for example) could have just not bet and got 6 x 4 = £24 as her score. A non-runner is basically the same as not putting a bet on. Oh sod it, I'll let highlander have his £1 back, as long as he doesn't pick the same nags as me!

No it aint..... you choose not to put a bet on, you dont back a non runner. You get your money back because the horse you backed pulled out after your bet was laid...............:icon_roll
