I like many others i suspect (especially because im going on Saturday want/expect our play-off position to be guaranteed on saturday), it is unrealastic to expect Peterboro to do us a favour therefore its not the end of the world if we have to wait till after the Boro game to celebrate

I couldn't give a **** what Peterborough or anyone else do. It's in our hands to **** up. **** OFF!

....I'm now chilled out.

Rather this than the 3-4 threads that will inevitably show up should we fail to win on Saturday.

I think the msg "lets not get carried" makes sense to me. :038:

away? :102:

or is there a deeper meaning that I'm not getting?!

Please do - it's the only way I'll learn

What does 'Let's not get carried' actually mean :102:
Let's not allow this to happen to us, that's what it means. It does make sense.

There are plenty of people on here being carried.

Do you remember 1988?

Middlesbrough went into the last game, at home to Leicester, knowing a win would see them promoted. Leicester were in the bottom half of the table at the time and a home win looked certain. Leicester spoilt their promotion party by winning 2-1 and Villa sneaked into second place.

Maybe Boro fans remember that and would like to spoil our day at the end of the season. Better not to give them the chance, by winning on Saturday.

Not that it mattered to Middlesbrough in the end, they beat Chelsea over two legs in the play-off final, replacing them in the first division.
