I have just enjoyed a Miller Chill pack so i'm very chilled.

My air conditioning is stuck of full and I have my feet in the freezer, I'm the most chilled, I guarentee. Shitting about the next two games though, WHAT IF WE DON'T BEAT PRESTON!?!?

Do you remember 1988?

Middlesbrough went into the last game, at home to Leicester, knowing a win would see them promoted. Leicester were in the bottom half of the table at the time and a home win looked certain. Leicester spoilt their promotion party by winning 2-1 and Villa sneaked into second place.

Maybe Boro fans remember that and would like to spoil our day at the end of the season. Better not to give them the chance, by winning on Saturday.

Not that it mattered to Middlesbrough in the end, they beat Chelsea over two legs in the play-off final, replacing them in the first division.

Jeff is absolutely right - pressure does a terrible thing to a team, and let's face it beating teams were expected to, has never been one of our strong points

We definitely want to e going into the fianl game against Boro with enough points on the board and a guarnteed ply-off spot already booked

Anyone who is looking forward to an exciting do-or-die final game, where we triumph is a splash of glory is living in cloud cuckoo land :bang:

I've seen more tears than laughter in those situations over the years

Under managers like Rob Kelly, Micky Adams, and Ian Holloway, I'd agree, but we're not really like that now. Thinks of home games like Scunthorpe, Watford, Plymouth, and QPR for a start.

If we don't beat Preston we are ****ed, there's no alternative scenario

Personally, I'm chilled bro. I chiiilllllleeeedddd.

I couldn't be more chilled if while lying stark naked Michael Morriso... sorry, wrong thread.

That felt a little too far, even for me...

Preston have lost fewer games at home than anyone apart from Newcastle. We don't often do well there. I'd be delighted if we got a point but wouldn't be surprised if we got beat...

That said, I'm still very chilled about it all. Middlesborough are our bitches so it won't be a problem.

Blackpool HAVE to win both games, its them under pressure not us! Preston have struggled at home recently against teams like Scunny!
