He's got the necessary mettle to make it big too, I noticed tonight how, when he injured his eye, the main perogative was to save the second shot before treatment. Definately not a prima dona, which is partly essential in a goalie, but good to see regardless.

I particularly like the way the defence actually trust him, meaning they panic less. It's hard to believe he's never been higher than no.1 at Yeovil.

I must admit I was a little dubious of Chris Weale after the first few games, but hoped he would come good. After watching the last two games (games are few and far between for me), he is a different player - he has been brilliant. Fantastic signing.

The last few games has forced me to change my opinion on him, as each game passes I now feel more comfortable with him in goal.

When he got kicked in the head last night he still got up to save the next shot. Other players would have just lay there as if shot and let the other side score.

Not at all, he was highly rated at Bristol, but Basso got in front of him in the pecking order and had a blinding season.
