Back to the football for a moment....I also think that Chris Wood looks a decent signing. He's a striker who has scored at this level (unlike Vardy - from whom it was probably asking too much). It also appears that he wants to play for Leicester City (whilst Beckford possibly wasn't that keen - after all he got shoved out for a tidy sum byEverton.

And this needs to work - we criticise the defence sometimes - but at the end of the day we concede less goals than anyone else in the division but it's the woeful finishing (except of course the excellent Nugent) that is the issue.

We need to close the gap asap in a few week is will be two thirds through the season and given that there is only one half decent competitor (Cardiff of course) then we ought to be making a move.
