Christmas presents

It's the thought that counts; sometimes the gift is just right, but sometimes there's no thought whatsoever. So what are the best and the worst Christmas presents you've ever had?

As it happens, my best and worst are both from the same person. When my daughter was about six her mother gave me a home-made photo album with some pictures of Maniac Jr, and a CD with hundreds more. A couple of years back the same woman thought I'd enjoy a pirate copy of a Roy Chubby Brown DVD. Beat that ****er.

There are only two things I really wanted; Biffa Bacon and my parents have delivered. I hoped for one, but didn't expect to get both items.

I actually want another thing, but only the Pupillage Fairy can sort that one out.

The worst gift I had was a ladder that you hang off of the bath taps to allow spiders to escape. The bath is the only place I can cope with seeing them in as I can use the shower attachment to flush the ****er down the plug hole. Why the hell would I want them getting out?

I wanted a new home and a body transplant, didn't get either but am pleased with what I have got.

I got 2 x Lynx Africa gift set from different family members.


Considering I haven't used Lynx since I was about 10 I'm sure they'll understand that I won't be using either of them.

All in all, an excellent batch of goodies. Maybe Santa saw me helping my Mum up the stairs when she was pissed Thursday night after a works do and thought I had been a good boy.
