Leicester City under 18s made it three wins on the bounce when they posted a 4-1 victory at Coventry on Saturday afternoon.

The Foxes went behind after just two minutes - but goals from Steve Howard, Scott Garner, Craig King and Luke O'Neill secured the points for Steve Beaglehole's young charges on the day.

Speaking after the game, Academy manager Jon Rudkin said: "Overall it was a good performance from the lads. It was a tricky start for them but they stuck to the task and were 4-1 up at half-time.

"In fairness we actually played better in the second period, but we just couldn't add to the scoreline.

"These local games are always difficult so that makes me doubly happy that we got the win on the day."

City: Pentney, Cox, Garner, Rowe-Turner, Cobb, O'Neill (Odhiambo), Tuttle (Hicks), Howard, Burns, C King, McKay.

its impossible to say for sure but even when he fecked up i never heard anyone around me slate Porter, which goes against the theory somewhat. we have had many players who have been shite (hughes last season) and received many groans from supporters, but it is easier to connect it to something non-football related if they are not white. if they bleached carl cort i'm sure he'd still be shit

Joachim was worshipped at his breakthrough with some gusto.

As was Heskey, everyone liked a bit of sir Les too.

Hume is worshipped by the BM's because it is clear he puts in the effort. You can question his ability and application but not his effort. Cort looks lazy and gets slated even though his general lack of fitness means it is probably as much effort for him to play the way he does now as Hume does when he is playing the headless chicken.

I think it would be naive to assume that racism doesn't exist among the LCFC fanbase. It exists everywhere else so why not? There are always going to be racists. Just as there are always going to be liars, thieves, drug addicts, murderers etc. It may even be possible that there are people out there that don't even know they're racist but always seem to be more critical of black footballers than caucasian footballers.
