I remember speaking to a Brum fan when we signed the guy, he was genuinely annoyed that we'd had him. And, as I remember, many City fans were pleased with it. Things perhaps could've been different, but sadly he's turned out a dud. Same thing happened with Matt Jones, he looked great when he was fit but a combination of bad luck and poor fitness did for him. I don't have any ill feeling towards Clem. Adios.

As for these types of purchase, the God that is MON managed to break our transfer record by shelling out £3m for Eadie. The rumour at the time was he had brought his own treatment table with him. Soccerbase tells me that Clem managed 2 games more in the city shirt than Darren, a positive bargain.
