According to the weather on bbc it will be colder in Leicester than Carlisle and the Highlands.

Its a myth that its cold up here,we gt snow but its very rarely at ground level.Theres been snow up on the Munros since October and its more often than not there until May.The Highlands is a big place,I live in the West,over in the East around the Cairngorms they get a lot more snow.All we get is rain and lots of it
