:102: is that a common leicester slang word i've never heard of??

Possibly an abbreviation for 'jovial deviant'. Hazzman will know!

I said I'm not a football fan. I detest the way football is run, I detest a lot of the personalities within the sport, I detest the money mad mentality it has, I detest the way the FA conducts itself, I could not go to watch a game that doesn't involve either of my 2 teams or f***t, I don't like most of what the football world stands for.

I don't watch football

Well not down city you don't:icon_lol:

No bugger has since 1970's

Joviant: (n) Contraction of jovial deviant. Used with reference to football fans who, happily, continue to support their chosen team despite continual disappoinment.

I am proud, now if everyone starts saying this word it will be in the Oxford Dictionary. I am going to start using it.

Me too.
I intend to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger, at the next available oppurtunity, just so that I can drop joviant into the conversation :icon_bigg :icon_wink

I thought making up words was a hobby of yours, you've also made up regularess and hollowful.

Yes, regularess is a fav of mine. Oxford Dictionary gave me a joviant call tonight and said regularess of your often hollowful spelling and poor grammar despite an A at English in GCSE and then averaging a B roughly in A-Level practices this year on the Beckett epic Waiting For Godot, we decided that despite some rejections from certains members, Joviant,Regularess and Hollowful are going to be included in the next edition of the dictionary.

Well Done, You are in the same league as Delia Smith and Jamie Oliver.
