Can anyone point in the right direction for help.

My computer keeps cutting out and getting the blue screen of doom. It appears to relate to a driver error as it occasionally recovers itself before the blue screen. I have some stuff on the net and it's really beyond me. It originally occured whilst playing on Football Manager (which I thought meant it related to a graphic error) but now, it's happening whenever and follows on pattern of timing.

Back up everything that you need to keep off the PC, then restore it. There will either be a recovery partition on the hard drive or you'll have gotten CDs with it to restore Windows.

Seriously, life's too short to be fighting battles that you're never going to win.

Good advice, that's why I use dropbox now, put all my essential files into one directory structure and I know it is backed up safely. Considering moving to Moxy for their unlimited backup space for £3 a month

I thinking of using on online back up as well as my external hard drive that I now have running. The Sunday Times did a list of the top 10 online back up sites at the weekend and Moxy was top.

My only problem with paying for one is that obviously once you start you are committed to paying for it long term otherwise you loose all your iterative(sp) backups.

No. I save important stuff in my Gmail account and on external hard drives.

I used to use the gdrive plugin but I was told Google had stopped access? I have a few external hard drives but have had some fail on me in the past so don't 100% trust them.

Gspace? It's a Firefox extention that sends files as an attachment to your gmail account, and displays them in Firefox as a GUI that appears like an FTP client.

If Gmail have stopped it from working, you'll still be able to log directly into the Gmail account and access any of the files previously uploaded with it as attachments.
