Assuming we win next week, what other results also have to go our way so that we are mathematically safe before we play QPR, i.e. allowing for Sunderland beating Arsenal and Chelsea etc.?

Nothing at all. The only thing that could upset that would be two hull wins by large margins of goals.

People are really doing their maths well in here at the moment.

eeerr... Wrong answer!

If we beat Sunderland next week we go to 40 points. Sunderland could still overtake us by winning their two remaining games.

There is no combination of results that can make us safe after next weekend's games.

Also wrong. If we draw next weekend and Hull lose, they cannot overtake us.

So if we win or draw next week and Hull lose, we are safe?

If we win next week and Sunderland lose to Arsenal the following Wednesday, we are safe?

But what happens if both Leicester and Sunderland win next week?
I am taking the piss btw

But that only makes us safe from Hull - which was not the question.

And there was me thinking that the intellectual level in here was much higher than what it is at FoxesTalk.......

Shambles!
