I heard that a League 1 club did make a loan offer for him recently, which King was willing to take to get first team football, but Pearson said he's not willing to send him out.
Don't know why some people are so against King... he did a good job last season, if not spectacular, and is young and will get better.
Plus we don't have anyone else to backup Wellens and Oakley anyway.

Too lightweight for me. He's ok when he has some time, but wont put a foot in when needed.

I was told Middlesboro were interested in him, my mate is a scout for them.

Personally I'm not, but he still has a lot to learn in the Championship where I don't think he gets the same time he did last season and when he plays for Wales U-21s.

People tend to forget that his goals ( 14? ), some at vital moments got us vital draws and win last year. Without that we would not have gone up IMO.

Put someone else in his position and they may have scored a less or similar amount of goals but broke more play up and stoped us conceding at the same time.

We hasve not seen much of him this year and until the Peterborough game what we saw was not impressive. However, I thought he played reasonably well on Tuesday night. I would like to see Adams come into midfield but Nigel certainly prefers King.

I do like King but I thought he was crap on tuesday, I completely lost it with him when he received a short throw near our own box and tried to hook the ball blindly over his shoulder, thus giving the ball away to a P'boro player and nearly conceding a winner.
