After going 2-0 down, a 2-2 draw is a good result. But I still think this is a game where we would've been looking to get 3 points, and with how the game played out, we had enough chances to win.

Even if Connolly is fit to play against Bury on Tuesday, I hope Hammond plays, and can hopefully open his account. I think if he can score, it will get his confidence up, and he can be a very good player for us.

I predicted a Crewe win before this.

City still have never won at Gresty Road.

Crewe have never beaten Leicester in 8 attempts though

Well there's something to be proud of then....
feck's sake.....crewe....
Who had us down for automatic promotion? Pah, fat fecking chance.
I'm quite pleased with a point on our travels, but shouldn't a lot of you be calling for CL's head?;)

the first 15 min were a disgrace, they were taking the piss, but we dominated the rest of the game and with the amount of chances we made we should have won. If Connolly was playing I think we would have done. Only 2 points off the play offs(!)

Thats who we stand alongside MK..Crewe,we are a Championship side now the good old MON days have gone,so get used to it.We no longer have a right to beat teams like Crewe,Brighton,QPR,Plymouth we have to scrap for every point. As for automatic promotion I never had us down for it but some people had the likes of Norwich and Palace down for it and they are behind us.We have made a solid if unspectacular start IMO.

shambolic first half hour but after that we dominated large chunks of the game. Paddy was awful today, maybe he wasn't fit?! Elvis looks like a good player although he really tired in the last 30 mins. Unlucky not to take 3 points home today.

i know i might get slated for this but I have always thought McCarthy is a bit dodgy, he usually follows up 1 good thing with either a reckless challenge or poor pass. i believe he has great potential and could go on to be a real star for the club but i don't think he is quite ready yet. Obviously he wasn't completely fit today, but I think we should give Gerrbrand a go.
Anyone else think Paddy looks like Frank Spencer?

Agree with Durham, first half hour we were shocking, all over the place and a shadow of the performances in the previous 3 games. But for the last hour of the match we were by far and away the better side. We showed great character and determination to come back from 2 early setbacks and on a another day we would have won. I am disappointed that we have not picked up 3 points because these are the sort of teams we need to be beating if we harbour serious aspirations of challenging for the play offs, but bearing in mind we have such a young squad, I am pleased and heartned by the way the team have reacted to the Sheff Utd defeat and now to being 2-0 down after 20 minutes away to Crewe, this definately shows signs of us being a difficult team to beat and a never say die attitude.

I must defend Paddy McCarthy's performance, it was a poor display from Paddy compared to his usual high standards, but I honestly believe that if Gerrbrand had been fit then Paddy would not have been involved, so I think he should be given credit for putting his body on the line for the cause.

Also I am pleased with the level of performances and the way we have coped without the injured players, yesterday we were missing Connolly, Morris, Gerrbrand and Hughes, whilst De Vries and Kisnorbo were only on the bench, surely something to do with not being fully fit. Yet we still had the quality in depth to grind out a result. So we have already had the proof that the quality of the squad is good enough, and once these players return to full fitness then we can only improve further.

Didnt someone on Radio Leicester after the game text in for CL to be sacked?:102:

Who ever it was, was talking out of their arse. It was probably Marlon trying to deflect the shit away from Forest !

I dont think you can deflect that much shite without a very large digger at least.
