Carl crowe?

Suggests in this article in a new cricket website (did we need another one?) that Carl Crowe has probably been let go, nice of county to announce it to their fans through their own website

Also Claude is looking to turn British, in which case he would get another contract after this season

Well, I think if this turns out to be the way it goes, that Carl Crowe has not been treated very well. He was given games at the start of the season when spinners do not generally enjoy helpful conditions and in my opinion bowled quite tidily.

He is certainly - in my opinion - a better bowler and cricketer than Jigar Naik (who incidentally is not exactly a youngster himself).

As for Claude Henderson, he is a very tidy bowler but more than a little predictable and if he is given a further two years as an English player then he is not going to be a total answer to the county's spinning deficit, by any means.
