Amazed by the lineup today. I guess Shakey was a bit nervous about Palace beating us that it would close the gap more than he felt comfortable with. Draw at least covers that.

Just hope the players are fit and ready for Tues.

Doesn't seem like any chance we'll see Amartey at centre back though does it.

Strange seeing as that is his natural position interesting we sold Hernandez when CR was playing him our of position **** all cover now

This feels like a bad result because we were 2-0 up.
In reality we'd all have taken a point before the game considering palace's recent form and our upcoming match.

A good result. Great to see Vardy score again. He's not a one season wonder is the point I'm making.

Onwards and upwards

Since Palace last played (which was at home), our squad have flown to Madrid, played against one of the best clubs in the world in the biggest club competition in the world, worked their socks off, and flown all the way back. Then they've trained, then travelled from Leicester 100 miles down to London.

Whilst I understand what you're saying, they hardly went to Russia. They will have sat on an luxurious chartered plane, wanting for nothing and without having to think about anything, for two hours each way.

Then a couple of hours journey in pure luxury to London.

Hardly difficult.

Hardly difficult? Even for a pro athlete playing against one of the world's best team is difficult. Travelling in general is tiring whether its luxirious or not - never had swelling after flying? Footballers are human beings!!

And fyi Russia is almost as close to us as Spain - Heathrow to Moscow is 3 hrs 40 mins, Birmingham to Madrid is 2 hrs 20.

Just Sayin!!

Takes me almost an hour to get to Leicester some days, I'm proper puckered after mind. I don't know why I don't check myself into a motel for a good kip and a bag of cheesy Wotsits. I reckon the reason is I can't resist watching Babestation on the motel's PPV, the swelling I get from that is something rotten.

The discussion is about travelling.

No, but it's hardly harmful. I'd be very surprised if any of the players suffered with swelling on such a short flight.

57% longer. Yes definitely almost as close.

Amartey could end up our only available central defender on Tuesday if both Wes and Benny are injured, Huth suspended and Was ineligible. So Amartey and Fuchs with Simpson, if he's fit, and Chilwell as full backs.

Wonderful game to watch. A good result against a team playing well - which feels like a loss because we were 2-0 up. We shouldn't lose a 2-0 lead.

Benny was just cramp so no problem there. Simpson was just Simpson so no problem there. Shakey moving Fuchs into CB and Chilwell into LB seems to indicvate that's what he'll do if Morgan isn't fit. Has Amartey shit in his car? Amartey was possibly our best player at the time he left for a successful African campaign.

Huth clearly motm and has been our saviour since he arrived being the key to the great escape and our title win. We're lucky that he doesn't just play magically for a few minutes a game other wise we'd lose by at least every match.

Lots of could and if there. Don't worry so much.

Would you really want Wasilewski in at CB even if we were desperate? :D This is Atletico Madrid in the Champions League we're talking about. If Wes doesn't recover in time, I'd have thought best option would be to put Amartey in there rather than shifting Fuchs to CB. That would leave us with Chilwell at LB who I think will struggle at against this calibre of opposition.

Even if Morgan is able to start, he's missed a couple weeks worth of games and probably won't be as match fit as we'd like. It's not a great situation whatever happens and the thing is, we could see we weren't sufficiently reinforced at the back right from the off this season!

Ndidi can play CB, but that would be a real shame as he is our best midfielder.

Stop being so ridiculous and pedantic and enjoy your Sunday, City Fan.

Fact of the matter is that we've done well to get an away point at one of the form teams in the league after travelling and playing away to one of the best teams in the WORLD!
