MOTM for me was Tiatto just ahead of Elvis. I thought Tiatto worked his socks off (not literally) in the midfield, he was the creator of almost every attack we had. Keep him in the middle!

Hi Guys,

First post from me have been reading the site for a while and thought this to be a good time for taking the plunge!

Was at the game today an heres my player ratings:

Logan 7- Good save towards the end, communication not quite there with centre backs at times but much preferred to the other 2

Stearman 6

McCauley 7- Very good positionally , hasnt done anything wrong when called upon

Kisnorbo 7

Nils 5- Distribution very poor looks uncomfortable at left back

Low 5- Bit powder puff and lightweight, crossing was poor and doesnt win enough headers for his size

Tiatto 8- Covered every blade today imo, nice to have a bit of bite in midfield

Hughes 4- Cant figure out why he's still in the 11

Welsh 7

Elvis 7- 10/10 for effort, there defenders looked scared of him in 1st half

Huuuuume 8- We need 11 of this guy, thought he was the best player on the pitch by a country mile

I thought Welsh had a good game today, he tends to try to take on one to many players at times but he looked dangerous when he broke forward. Tiatto had a very good game as did Hammond whos pace scared there defence. I think we should of replaced him with O'Grady mid way through the second half to give us another option.

Hi Guys,

First post from me have been reading the site for a while and thought this to be a good time for taking the plunge!

Welcome to the madhouse Sorrel.

Logan 7.... Didn't do anything wrong, not at fault for the goal.

Stearman 7..... Defended well, pushed on, might have done better with chance near end.
McCauley 7.
Kisnorbo 7..... Thought back two played really well together. Their attack hardly had a look in.
Johansson 5..... Mainly for effort, he tries but he's not really a left back.

Low 3.... And I'm feeling generous. 1st time I've seen him, don't really want to repeat the experience. Why did we persist in pumping high balls in his direction when he clearly was never going to win one?
Hughes 5..... Played well in patches but didn't seem capable of providing any penetration from midfield.
Tiatto 8...... Ran his socks off. CM definately his best position. MOTM.
Welsh 6.... Did ok. Suffered from playing in front of Johansson

Hammond 8.... Best I've seen him play. V nearly motm.
Hume 7...... Forced to go too deep to find the ball leaving Hammond isolated.

Sylla 6.... Showed commitment and better than Low.

Tiatto MOM - fantastic show. Andy Johnson shouldn't get a look in when he is fit again.
Elvis - what did RK put in his cornflakes? Outstanding. Strong, full of running, just needs a goal for his confidence. he trudged off at the end like he'd had a shocker!
Hume - top stuff again
McAuley - first time I've seen him play and he looks very solid, not out of his depth like Low

he didnt seem that bad on the radio!

ok fair enough, but well i personally thought he was w*nk he was v.poor today as i thought he was last saturday. Id like to see Maybury right winger on tuesday, its only a cup match mayswell try him and im praying Williams will be fit we can not possibly win with Hughsie in the team.

Agree with all of that Jessel. Shows how desperate we are when we want Maybury playing at RM but Filbert the fecking Fox would have been an improvement on Low today.

Not sure why so many comparitively low ratings for Hughes, as I thought he probably had his best game this season - not saying he was playing to his full potential, but he was tackling :o heading and spreading the ball across the field well. Only needed a few more runs into the box, although he may have been told to stick in position with Tiatto liable to go wandering about. Anyway...

Logan - 8
Stearman - 6
McAuley - 5
Kisnorbo - 7
Johansson - 6
Low - 4
Hughes - 6
Tiatto - 6
Welsh - 6 - started well but faded towards the end, probably lack of match fitness?
Hume - 7
Hammond - 6 - great effort, shame about the lack of shooting ability

Subs:
Sylla - 6 - a shockingly good cameo from Sylla, still runs like he's jogging on a nudist beach, but otherwise did well
