Logan 7 - Another solid display by the youngster, brave save right at the end.

Stearman 7 - Looks back to something like his best.

Kisnorbo 7 - Another solid display.

McAuley 7 - Looks a natural at this level.

Johansson 6 - Steady but IMO is still too cumbersome to play full back.

Low 4 - IMO not good enough, puts the effort in but is like a rabbit caught in the headlights, out of his depth at this level.

Hughes 6 - Did well, although did seem to fade for a time in the 2nd half, but then seemed to come back to life.

Tiatto 8 - Man of the match, was superb, at the heart of everything, possibly the best perfomance by a central midfielder this season. Must continue to play there.

Welsh 7 - Has given us balance, seems a yard or two quicker than last season, wasn't afraid to have a go at the Palace defence, although I felt we didnt get the ball to him enough in the 2nd half.

Hammond 7.5 - Ran his heart out and deserved a goal for his efforts, building up an excellent partnership with Hume.

Hume 7 - Coolly taken penalty and at the hub of our best attacking moves.

Sylla 6 - Worked hard and made a far more positive impact on the game than Low, deserves an opportunity to start against Villa.

So on tuesday would people prefer to give Momo a try from the start instead of Low?
I for one probably would but didnt think I'd find myself saying this a few months back. As for Tiatto thought he ran the game kind of midfield display a certain Mr Savage would have been proud of on his day:038:

Gabby 8 - Would have been a 7 but for the great save at the end saved a point.

Stearman 7 - This lad is very brave and sticks his head in where some others wouldn't. Solid display.
Kisnorbo 8 - Quality again. Kuqi was in his pocket.
McAuley 8 - Very commanding in the air. Very calm on the ball.
Scarlett 7 - Improving now that he is gaining confidence.

J-Lo 5 - Clearly lacking confidence. It would have been a big boost for him if Kiraly hadn't made a great save from his great bullet heade early in the game. Struggled to beat his full-back.
Tiatto 9 - MOM. Energetic display. Always wanted the ball which is what we have been lacking in mid-park this season imo. Not afraid to keep showing, even when the muppets in the crowd nearly turned on him in the first half for his one-legged pirate episode.
Hughes 6 - Got better as the game went on and was given more room.
Raquel 7 - Beat his full-back and got some decent crosses in a few times. His direct style of play is like a breath of fresh air.

Hume 8 - On top of his game. Confidence is sky-high. Great touches and flick. Always a threat.
Hammond 7 - At last Elvis has learned how to control the ball with his back to goal and keep hold of the thing! Now he needs to learn when to pass, shoot or dribble! Gave their defence a tough time. Needs a goal for his good performances.

Sylla 7 - Did well with some good runs and crosses. Maybe he has learned from being snubbed and has something to prove?

Sunday people gave our lot very low marks,Hume top scoring with 7

Thought Lowe was really poor, Hughes poor a liability will not tackle even for a 80/20 ball, back division is reasonably solid in all area's, left side Welsh not to bad could well still be finding his feet, Hume is Hume100% effort without getting any quality ball, Hammond quick, awkward runner, but unable to produce when needed, Goalkeeper is coming on and is producing the kind of displays we used to see from years gone by.
Not surprised by the result, because they were never going to give anything away, and we were short with injuries with the squad, nowhere good enough in strength in depth
but you can't have everything given our situation.

Probably about right if you are comparing them to whoever wins this league. If you compare it to our previous performances then the People is wrong.

If you compare it to Chelsea then Hume should be a 1 along with Elvis and Tiatto with the rest scoring 0.? and below

First off all SF welcome to the posting house of fun :039: and I agree that perhaps we should start with Momo either on Tuesday or next Saturday.

Were you actually there OX Fox or were you listening to Barber & Co?

Cannot uderstand the high marks for Kisnorbo - he was caught out of position several times and had a generally poor game - did nobody else notice? It seems him and Hume are getting good marks regardless of performance.

I thought him and McAuley both had very good games. Kisnorbo has having a real battle with Kuqi which i think he won.

I don't think this result can be underestimated. CP have some very good players and will be up there at the end of the season. We restricted them to very little. The goal was from nothing and should have been defended better, and we had a 5 minute spell after they scored where we forgot how to defend, but other than that, and the one chance in the second half, they didn't look like doing anything.
Morrison, Kuqi and Freedman are all good strikers at this level.

Logan 7 - Didnt really have much to do, made a good save towards the end, feel he needs to command his area better.

Stearman 7 - Good forward runs and put his head in where others wouldnt, getting back to his best.
McAuley 7 - Looked comfortable and hardly put a foot wrong.
Kisnorbo 7 - Very good game, won nearly all of his headers, gave nothing to Kuqi, did get caught a couple of times, but solid the rest of the time.
Johansson 6 - Looks uncomfortable, he tried.

Low 2 - Just for managing to get his shirt on the right way! Shocking!!!!
Tiatto 8 - MOTM - Very strong, afew crunching tackles to let people know he was there. Ran the game. Gave the ball away a couple of times, but was due to the fact his midfield partner let him down.
Hughes 6 - Because he seemed to get better as the game went on. Very lightweight but can see he has class, just confidence needed I think. Still think Williams is the better option.
Welsh 6 - Did ok, felt he ran down blind alleys too often, and delivery wasnt the best, bar a couple of decent crosses. With matches can see him settling in and only getting better.

Hume 8 - All action as usual and deserved his cooly taken penalty. Seems the partnership with Elvis is blossoming
Hammond 7.75 - Would have been MOTM if he'd have put away the rebound in the first half. Best Ive seen him play, all action, good touch, some nice flicks, scared the defence and stayed onside more. Should have been subbed towards the end as had run himself into the ground. Lets hope it can continue.

Sylla 7 - Was 100 times better than Low, direct, strong and even tracked back to make a couple of decent tackles and blocks. Probably alittle too layed back, more urgency wouldnt go a miss. Long may it continue, start him against Villa, I think he will raise his game.

All in all a decent display, prob should have won, but would have taken a draw before kick-off.
