Damage to my wing mirror.

As i was walking back to my car this lunchtime i saw some bird in a citreon hit the wing mirror on my car, this has cracked the casing thus causing damage. I jumped in my car and followed her to the lights, i have written down her number plate i also gestured that my wing mirror was damaged then drove allowing her to follow which she did not do.

Realistically im not going to get it repaired im just pissed off that she obviously didnt give a **** about someone else's property. Id like to report her, but would i exactly be reporting? Leaving the scene of an accident seems a little dramatic!!

ring the police. Similar thing happened to my mums car in cornwall, they checked the cctv and they got the number plate, at least then she could claim off the other persons insurance. However if you already have the numberplate maybe just ring you insurance company, they will sort the rest.
