There is an opportunity to take ownership of the ground at anytime if the right deal for all parties can be struck.

Under the original agreed terms the payments to Teachers has mainly consisted of interest payments while we are in the Championship at a rate of just over £1m per season, with the debt rising marginally each year. However a run of 5 seasons in the Premiership would nearly achieve repayment of the loan, as the payment to Teachers is at a much increased rate.

When Milan Mandaric owned the club, he said he would only consider trying to buy the ground when in the Premiership

Generally it is recognised as a good financial deal, however now the club is under the main King Power International Group, it may be possible that with their property portfolio that they can achieve better terms and may look to change things
