This probably sounds like s stupid question to you geeks, but bearing in mind I am of an older generation....
I currently have a mobile plan that gives me 1GB of data per month over a 3G network and I use around 750MB per month at most.
If I switch to a 4G contract which also gives me 1GB of data per month, assuming my data habits remained the same would I actually use more of my allowance on a 4G network than on a 3G one? In other words, is there a hidden cost in terms of bandwidth usage etc when on 4G over and above what 3G requirements are?
Thanks.
