Davie Gibson Q & A + book signing Tuesday 7th May 2013

I'm sure Jeff won't mind me mentioning this event that is being organised by the London Branch of the Supporters Club. Davie Gibson, a stalwart of LCFC in the sixties, will be holding a question and answer session and signing copies of his biography ( which will be on sale on the night ) on Tuesday 7th May. It will be taking place in the upstairs room of The Exmouth Arms, 1 Starcross Street, London, NW1 2HR ( handy for Euston and Euston Square stations ). It will be after a monthly meeting of the Association of Supporters Clubs in London, which is anticipated to finish about 20.15. There will be a short beer break, so the event with Davie will probably start about 20.30. All are welcome to come along. If anyone has any questions please feel free to post them in this thread and I'll do my best to answer them.

For about his first three seasons of his Leicester career Davie Gibson was an 'all purpose' inside forward - skilful, very high work rate, goal scoring. At his best possibly the best outfield Leicester player i have seen. Being a physically lightweight player and particularly in the later years of his career he was hampered by the heavy pitches which were much more a deciding factor in those days on team selection and tactics.
