Good attacking full back but defensively and positionally a liability. Can get away with it at championship level, not at PL level.

Good luck, but I can't say he will be missed.

Scored one of my favourite goals in one of my favourite games of recent years against the sheep.

I echo the sentiments here great move for him. Won't go down in my memories as the best but deserves his place in City folk law.

He's provided some brilliant moments for us in his time here (and the occasional shocker). But once Claudio set up the full-backs to play more defensively, he was always going to be on his way out.

I'll be happy for him if he does well elsewhere.

He helped both us and Boro up to the prem. can't be that bad.

Baffling that RdL tends to get the blame for being caught out of position, in what were surely Claudio's orders for him to go buccaneering down the right with Riyad as backup. Most exciting RB since Peter Rodrigues for me, and give or take the odd concentration lapse gets a thumbs up from me.

He is a very good attacking full back, but no longer fits our style of play, he will do well in an attacking team, as I expect Villa will be in the Championship.

He was an important part of our promotion and survival so I wish him well.
